Site Selection & Feasibility

Echo Consultants has experience in prospecting and scoping sites for potential renewable development. Using a combination of resources and a refined methodology, Echo Consultants has successfully identified numerous sites for large-scale solar, pumped hydro energy storage and wind potential in Queensland and NSW.

Through a pragmatic and thorough process, sites are further assessed for fatal flaws and constraints to determine future development viability and potential regulatory requirements. We provide further support and are well-experienced in approaching and negotiating with Landholders to discuss land leasing/purchasing option agreements.

PLANNING APPROVALS

Echo Consultants has successfully navigated solar, battery, green hydrogen, electricity and transport infrastructure projects in Queensland, and renewables projects in NSW and Vic through a pragmatic and efficient approvals process. We provide expertise in Local, state and Commonwealth approvals, and are well-experienced in liaison and negotiation with government agencies and regulatory authorities. Our approach considers the project objectives, staged development, time and funding constraints, site and natural constraints.
